Senior Transport and Travel Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Transport and Travel Coordinator provides day-to-day guidance and oversight to the Transport Administration team, coordinating transport, travel and fleet administration services so that staff and services across the region are supported efficiently and in a customer-focused way. The role is predominantly based at Wellington Regional Hospital, with occasional work from Hutt Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital.

Required profile

• At least two years' experience in a senior administration, coordinator or similar role, overseeing workloads, priorities and day-to-day operations; team leadership experience is ideal.
• Proven leadership and organisational skills, able to coordinate teams and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with staff, suppliers and service users.
• A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence and the ability to drive manual vehicles.
• Flexibility to work across the Wellington, Hutt and Kenepuru Hospital sites as required.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for record keeping, reporting and managing administrative systems.
