Senior React Native Developer – Auckland

About the role

We are looking for a senior mobile engineer to own the full lifecycle of our consumer‑facing React Native applications. You will work alongside another lead to shape the mobile experience for millions of New Zealand users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development using React Native, TypeScript and Expo.
• Guide performance, stability and release quality from code to live app on iOS and Android.
• Define engineering standards, testing practices, accessibility guidelines and design‑system integration.
• Collaborate with product, design, web and platform teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Leverage AI tooling as an accelerator while applying sound judgement.

Required profile

• Valid right to work in New Zealand.
• Full‑lifecycle React Native experience, having shipped a live app.
• Strong TypeScript expertise.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android environments.
• Calm, collaborative approach rather than directive leadership.
