Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager in ANZ's Delivery and Change Centre of Excellence, you will lead high‑value, high‑risk projects across multiple business units. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while engaging senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex projects, ensuring scope, budget and timelines are met.
• Develop business cases and support project funding and governance processes.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, procurement activities and vendor relationships.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear, effective project communications.
• Drive collaboration across cross‑functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Lead change initiatives and support business readiness in complex environments.
• Monitor project performance, report progress and ensure alignment with ANZ governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery practices, processes and project outcomes.
• Coordinate resources to deliver high‑quality outcomes and realise business benefits.
• Coach, mentor and support team members while fostering an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies and vendor relationships.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a complex, change‑focused environment.
