Senior Manager, Customer Development – New Zealand & Pacific Islands

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position leads the partnership between McDonald’s and the Coca‑Cola system across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. You will own the full P&L, drive beverage incidence, and shape the end‑to‑end product strategy to grow profitability for both brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the total business strategy for the McDonald’s‑Coca‑Cola partnership, covering product range, pricing, marketing and supply chain.
• Manage the P&L, operating budget and marketing spend for the McDonald’s account.
• Lead negotiations on national pricing and cost structures, ensuring alignment across the Coca‑Cola system, bottlers and McDonald’s leadership.
• Steer senior relationships with McDonald’s CEOs, regional leaders and bottler executives.
• Drive product innovation, consumer insight research and new equipment commercialization to increase beverage incidence.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources (customer management, brand marketing, finance) to meet short‑ and long‑term volume and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial accounts with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of beverage industry economics, pricing models and partnership dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with senior executives across multiple organisations.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating market insights into profitable product and marketing plans.
