Sales Manager – Automotive Dealership

About the role

Honda New Zealand is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Honda Store in Newmarket. This hands‑on leadership role will own new and used vehicle sales performance, drive customer experience excellence, and support overall dealership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and sales growth.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve targets.
• Build strong customer relationships and improve retention.
• Identify market opportunities and respond to industry trends.
• Manage stock performance and maintain dealership presentation standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with Honda’s brand values.

Required profile

• Proven automotive sales management experience.
• Passion for sales, performance and achieving results.
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking ability.
• Ability to analyse information and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience leading teams and driving positive change.
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
• Full New Zealand driver licence.
