About the role

The Rostering Coordinator will sit at the heart of a large, complex organisation that delivers critical frontline services. This fast‑moving position ensures daily rosters are accurate, gaps are filled promptly and stakeholders are kept informed, contributing directly to smooth operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain daily rosters across a busy operational environment.
• Identify staffing gaps early and secure cover at short notice.
• Coordinate employee leave and arrange appropriate back‑fill.
• Plan for upcoming vacancies and mitigate risks before they impact service.
• Serve as the primary contact for all rostering and workforce queries.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders and support teams.
• Communicate changes, risks and updates clearly and confidently.
• Keep rostering systems and records accurate and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven experience in rostering, scheduling or complex coordination.
• Exceptional organisational ability with strong attention to detail.
• Capacity to prioritise and solve problems in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confidence interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Resilient, practical and solutions‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with databases or similar systems.
