About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an energetic Team Leader to drive performance and create an inviting shopping environment at its Albany store. You will lead a diverse retail team, ensure operational excellence, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast‑paced setting.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team culture, coach and mentor staff, and communicate clear goals.
• Maintain high shop‑floor standards, oversee stock presentation, ticketing, and daily opening/closing procedures.
• Lead visual‑merchandising initiatives to keep the store attractive and organized.
• Prioritise health and safety for employees and customers.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring memorable experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively within the local community.
