Quality Inspector – Manufacturing & Packaging

About the role

Join Lam Research’s Global Operations Group as a Quality Inspector, working in a high‑volume manufacturing environment and cleanroom setting. You will ensure product integrity by performing inspections, testing, and sampling across packaging lines and incoming materials.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product audits, generate detailed reports, and document non‑conformances during pre‑shipment and final source audits.
• Assist Quality Engineers with containment actions and validation of corrective measures.
• Perform routine line compliance audits to verify adherence to work instructions and SOPs.
• Inspect packaging lines, monitor critical equipment, and evaluate raw‑material samples.
• Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk materials based on analytical data.
• Ensure accurate hand‑over of quality information to subsequent shifts.
• Work 12‑hour shift patterns in a cleanroom environment.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in quality inspection or a related manufacturing role.
• Diploma in Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Strong quality mindset with the ability to prioritize product integrity.
• Effective teamwork and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications (advantage).
