Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Engineer in the Systematics team at ANZ, you will ensure the stability, security and high‑quality of core banking platforms that support Internet Banking and goMoney. You will work closely with product owners, analysts and engineers to translate business needs into effective test scenarios and deliver a reliable banking experience for internal and external users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and engineers to create test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
• Apply functional and non‑functional testing standards and best practices.
• Improve test coverage and drive test automation initiatives.
• Execute regression, release and change testing to maintain platform stability.
• Identify, assess and communicate quality risks to ensure safe delivery.
• Contribute to the evolution of testing tools, frameworks and methodologies.
• Promote a collaborative quality culture within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software testing within enterprise or complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of functional and non‑functional testing principles.
• Hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
