Support Engineer – Onsite IT Services

About the role

You will be the primary on‑site representative of Cyclone at customer locations in the Wellington region, delivering Level 1 and Level 2 support for software, hardware and network issues. You will work closely with end‑users, the national service desk and senior engineers to resolve incidents and improve the overall user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests while managing SLA commitments.
• Provide escalation support and manage problems through to resolution.
• Create and update site documentation and contribute to service reporting.
• Develop your skills and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience supporting networks, hardware and software (or less if specialised within Cyclone).
• Tertiary ICT or computer qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Apple and/or Windows desktop support.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and/or Google productivity environments.
• Strong customer service, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large team while taking responsibility for individual tasks.
