Quality Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Controller to join King Country Pet Food’s manufacturing team in Taumarunui. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will help ensure that our pet food products meet the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in‑process goods and finished products.
• Document findings, generate quality reports and communicate non‑conformities to production staff.
• Support corrective‑action investigations and follow‑up on root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate quality‑control equipment according to SOPs.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to develop professionally within the animal‑health sector.
