About the role
ACCIONA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering and technical delivery for the Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana – Ara Tūhono project in Auckland. You will ensure construction activities meet safety, quality and schedule requirements while supporting the overall project performance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide engineering, technical and project delivery support throughout construction phases.
- Collaborate with project management, site supervision, subcontractors and clients to achieve project outcomes.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide on‑site work.
- Monitor health and safety standards and promote a safety‑first culture.
Required profile
- Strong construction and engineering knowledge.
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Contract and commercial awareness.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software.
