Project Engineer – Industrial Projects at Kinleith Mill

About the role

Join Beca’s Industrial team at the Kinleith pulp and paper mill as a Project Engineer. You will work on a diverse portfolio of capital and non‑routine maintenance projects, collaborating with senior engineers and on‑site staff to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineering tasks of increasing scope, applying standards and best practices.
• Prepare accurate documentation that meets client and project requirements.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Support HSE compliance and promote a safe, collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Project management qualification or demonstrable project management experience.
• Strong customer focus, problem‑solving mindset and ownership attitude.
• Experience in industrial or consulting environments; pulp‑and‑paper exposure is a plus.
