Production Operator (Filler/Packer)

About the role

Goodman Fielder New Zealand, one of the largest branded food manufacturers and suppliers, is looking for a reliable and motivated Filler/Packer Operator for its Longburn site, where dairy products are made from receiving raw milk through to finished milk and cultured foods. Full on-the-job training is provided, and the role sits within a team filling and packing a wide range of dairy products.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety rules, standards and policies, and report incidents or near misses to the Team Leader
• Maintain the highest product quality standards
• Operate equipment according to site standards
• Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues to build a high-performing team
• Help keep the workplace clean and compliant with standards

Required profile

• Able to lift up to 20kg
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
• Some mechanical know-how is a benefit, as the role involves filling and packing equipment
