Procurement Business Partner

About the role

The Procurement Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to teams across Hato Hone St John, translating business needs into effective sourcing solutions. You will support a wide range of procurement activities, from routine purchases to high‑value, strategic spend, helping the organisation achieve better financial and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a procurement partner rather than a gatekeeper.
• Lead sourcing projects across diverse categories, ensuring value, sustainability and compliance.
• Analyse spend data and market information to inform decision‑making and drive cost efficiencies.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation’s overall procurement strategy.
• Support change initiatives by respectfully challenging existing processes and recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or end‑to‑end procurement.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work collaboratively with varied teams.
• Adaptable, curious and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Resilient and confident in influencing stakeholders and managing change.
• Motivated by purpose and the impact of working for a community‑focused organisation.
