Processing Officer (Fixed Term 12 Months)

About the role

New Zealand Post is hiring a Processing Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at its Auckland Processing Centre in Wiri. Processing Officers sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight so that couriers can deliver them. The role suits someone who enjoys a physically demanding job and wants to be part of a team working to grow New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Wiri processing centre.
• Work the stated hours: Sunday 10:30am to 7pm and Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10:30pm.
• Commit to the full 12-month fixed-term contract.

Required profile

• Available for the stated hours and willing to commit to a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• A committed teammate who keeps themselves, colleagues and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role, able to lift up to 25kg.
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.
