Pega Consultant (Contract)

About the role

Datacom, a partner of WhyDatacom, is hiring a Pega Consultant on a contract basis in Auckland. As a trusted advisor, you will lead the implementation of Pega solutions for clients, turning business requirements into effective Pega applications. You will work closely with business users, stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure and deliver Pega-based applications that improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of Pega BPM/Case Management applications for multiple clients.
• Work with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Implement Pega configurations, including rule design, case types and integrations.
• Provide ongoing support, issue resolution and optimization recommendations after implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Pega, following best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead workshops and engage with clients across a range of industries.

Required profile

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification, or working towards it.
• Proven client-facing experience delivering Pega solutions on time and within scope.
• Ability to lead client workshops and manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in an agile environment; familiarity with Agile is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on Pega BPM and Case Management experience, including solution design, configuration and implementation.
• Expertise in gathering and analysing business requirements and turning them into functional specifications.
• Integration techniques including SOAP, REST and web services.
• Experience with Pega Infinity versions is highly desirable.
