Part-Time Support Worker - Ranfurly

About the role

HealthCare NZ, a provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support, is seeking a part-time Support Worker based in Ranfurly. Candidates must be available to the listed shifts and flexible to travel. The role supports clients to live as independently as possible in their homes and community, following a care plan.

Key responsibilities

• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal care such as showering and toileting
• Home management
• Hoisting

Required profile

• Desire to help and support others
• Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
• Full New Zealand driver's licence and own reliable transport (most positions)
• Right to work in New Zealand and willingness to undergo police vetting and additional checks

Shifts: Week 1 Monday to Friday 8am-10am and Saturday and Sunday 8am-10am and 5pm-6pm; Week 2 Monday to Friday 8am-10am and Tuesday and Thursday 12pm-1pm. The position is permanent part-time, open to applicants with 0-1 years of experience.
