Night Shift Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Night Shift Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement and flow of containers within our depot during the night hours. This full‑time permanent position works Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 3:30 am and involves close interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process trucks entering and leaving the yard using the company’s in‑house booking system.
• Direct and instruct truck drivers on movements within the depot.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to meet cut‑off times.
• Reconcile driver sheets and ensure accurate recording of movements.
• Validate data received from MPI to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage acceptances, releases and deliveries of full containers.
• Handle internal and external enquiries related to depot operations.
• Communicate with staff via the RT system.

Required profile

• Confident professional communicator, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of tasks.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand and ability to pass a pre‑employment medical, drug test and Ministry of Justice criminal history check.
