Maintenance Coordinator

About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at a 176‑bed care home and village in Rotorua. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to keep our facilities safe, clean and welcoming for residents while working in a supportive, multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance across the building and grounds.
- Carry out minor repairs, including painting, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
- Maintain the exterior of the property and surrounding outdoor areas.
- Collaborate with the Care Home Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Prioritise work orders, manage supplies and keep accurate maintenance records.
Required profile
- Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing or minor carpentry (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Good communication, time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Full clean driver’s licence.
