Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Cantabria Lifecare & Village in Rotorua. This full‑time, permanent position involves overseeing the general upkeep of our 176‑bed care home and village, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventative maintenance and routine building repairs.
• Manage maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with external contractors when needed.
• Maintain the exterior of the building and surrounding grounds.
• Work closely with the Care Home Manager to uphold safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication, time‑management, and customer‑service orientation.
• Full clean driver’s licence.

• General maintenance experience.
