Junior New Vehicle Sales Consultant

About the role

This entry‑level position offers a pathway into the automotive sales industry for candidates who are enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn. You will work alongside experienced Vehicle Consultants, gaining exposure to all aspects of the New Vehicle Sales department while supporting the wider sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sales and fleet administration support, including document processing.
• Ensure new‑vehicle advertisements, photography and marketing content are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Maintain presentation and display standards of the new‑vehicle yard.
• Prepare and present direct‑delivery vehicles to customers.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries when required.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle data records.
• Support the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using multiple online systems.
• Self‑motivated with the initiative to get things done.
• Ability to multitask effectively and pay great attention to detail.
• Customer service experience in a sales environment or similar.
• Full driver’s licence (manual preferred but not essential).
• Flexibility to work on a 7‑day rotating roster.
• Current New Zealand residency/citizenship or valid full working rights.
