Intermediate Data Engineer – Cloud & Modern Data Platforms

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Data Engineer to join our consulting team in New Zealand. You will design and build modern data platforms, pipelines, and cloud solutions for a range of clients across multiple industries, enabling analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data platforms and ETL pipelines.
• Develop cloud‑based solutions using Snowflake, Azure and AWS.
• Apply dbt for data transformation and modelling.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and client stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Ensure best practices in data engineering, security and performance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• Proven ability to work in a consulting environment with multiple clients.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and effective communication.
