Information Technology Technician – Helpdesk & Mobility Support

About the role

The Information Technology Technician will provide technical support through the ICS helpdesk and maintain the company’s mobility and communications systems. Based in Kerikeri, you will ensure secure, reliable day‑to‑day operations, carry out routine maintenance, and help improve the performance of our communications infrastructure while reporting to the IT Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the ICS helpdesk.
• Administer, maintain, train staff and provide user support for tablets, smartphones and mobile phones.
• Install, administer and maintain the Group’s computer network patching.
• Maintain and manage all ICS fixed assets.
• Administer all ICS software licensing.
• Monitor and audit internet and email usage.
• Maintain and document ICS procedures, including creating as‑built drawings where required.
• Support the training and development of staff.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in an IT‑related field.
• At least three years’ experience administering and maintaining communications infrastructure.
• Experience installing and maintaining computer systems.
• Full, clean driver licence.
