Business Analyst – Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Auckland)

About the role

Accenture’s Avanade practice is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and analysis on complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmes. Based in Auckland, you will work closely with client stakeholders, functional architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions are well‑defined and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis workstreams on large‑scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmes.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and process‑mapping sessions with client stakeholders.
• Document and manage business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing ‘as‑is’ processes and design future‑state ‘to‑be’ processes.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to validate designs.
• Support UAT planning, execution and sign‑off.
• Manage junior BAs, providing coaching and quality oversight.
• Assist pre‑sales activities, including scope definition and effort estimation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead analysis workstreams independently.
• Experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise CRM/ERP programmes.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365 (CE, ERP) implementation experience.
• Power Platform knowledge.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, JIRA and Visio for requirements management.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with data migration and integration considerations.
