Group Growth Manager

About the role

The Group Growth Manager will lead commercial activities for an established construction group, reporting directly to the CEO. This senior position is responsible for driving new business, managing strategic accounts, and delivering long‑term growth across the sector. The role is based on‑site in the Wellington region (Petone or Porirua).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy that targets new markets and expands existing client relationships.
• Lead the sales and business development teams to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to align product, marketing, and operational initiatives with growth goals.
• Monitor market trends in construction and adjust tactics to stay competitive.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and managing strategic accounts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Base salary of $160,000‑$180,000 NZD plus OTE.
