Graduate/Student Surveyor

About the role

Join Maven’s Tauranga office as a Graduate/Student Surveyor and start your career in a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment. You’ll work on a mix of office and field tasks, gaining exposure to engineering, planning and surveying disciplines while supporting land development projects across the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in both office‑based and field‑based surveying activities.
• Use design software such as Civil3D and 12d to produce project deliverables.
• Assist in the land development process from feasibility studies through to delivery.
• Collaborate with senior management and peers for technical guidance.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education (BSurv) or currently working towards it.
• 1‑2 years of industry experience preferred, but candidates with less will be considered.
• Strong communication skills, initiative and a solution‑driven mindset.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet time‑frame and budget requirements.
