About the role
Join Petdirect in Takapuna as a full‑time Retail Sales Assistant and help Kiwi pet parents find the right products for their furry friends. You’ll work in a lively store environment surrounded by animals, merchandise and a passionate team.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable advice on pet products.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain store presentation, restock shelves and ensure product availability.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues with a friendly attitude.
- Support inventory checks and participate in promotional activities.
Required profile
- A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
- Reliability, punctuality and a customer‑focused mindset.
