Field Merchandiser (Part-Time, Casual)

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for a Field Merchandiser in Christchurch, with two positions available. It is a casual, part-time role with a variable roster, paid $25.20 per hour plus mileage. The main purpose of the role is to make sure Goodman Fielder products are displayed on shelf and ready to buy, working with products such as milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread.

Key responsibilities

• Work alone and manage your own time, ensuring products are placed on shelves in supermarkets
• Lift product up to 12kg, such as milk crates or full racks of bread, and place it on shelves
• Travel to different local supermarkets and act as the face of the brands there
• Build relationships with grocery customers and communicate regularly with your supervisor and at store level
• Follow health and safety rules; ongoing training, uniforms and personal protective gear are provided
• Occasionally receive product to take home and sample

Required profile

• Physically fit, able to lift up to 12kg and work on your feet
• Organised and enjoys customer interaction in a supermarket environment
• Valid driver's licence (restricted or above)
