Equity Partner – Finance & Capital (Co‑founder)
Dashr
Job description
About the role
We are seeking an equity‑partner to join Dashr at the co‑founder level and lead the launch of our employer pilot in New Zealand. This is an equity‑only position focused on building financial strategy, securing capital and forging employer partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute a pilot programme with New Zealand employers, from initial outreach to a live rollout.
- Develop financial models, runway forecasts and overall financial strategy for the company.
- Lead investor relations and drive the next capital‑raising round.
- Leverage your finance‑industry network to open doors to capital, employer partners and early customers.
- Participate in strategic decision‑making across the business.
Required profile
- Active professional in New Zealand finance, investment, banking or wealth‑management sectors.
- Holder of, or working toward, a wholesale or eligible investor status under the FMA’s Financial Markets Conduct Act.
- Established network that includes NZ employers, HR or workplace‑benefits providers.
- Comfortable with the ambiguity and rapid pace of an early‑stage startup.
- Commitment to the role as a full‑time founder‑level effort, not a side project.
Required skills
- Financial modelling and runway planning.
- Investor relations and capital‑raise execution.
- Strategic partnership development.
What we offer
- Equity ownership in Dashr with terms open to discussion.
- Direct influence on product, strategy and growth.
- Opportunity to shape a fintech platform that provides New Zealanders with a transparent, holistic view of their finances.
