Senior Analyst – Finance & Operations Transformation

About the role

Join PwC’s Finance and Operations Transformation team in Auckland as a Senior Analyst. You will work on procurement and supply chain transformation engagements for private and public sector clients, helping shape and deliver initiatives that drive commercial and operational impact.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients on strategic procurement, supply‑chain and cost‑transformation programmes, delivering initiatives that create lasting commercial and operational impact.
• Tackle complex business and supply‑chain challenges using data, structured problem‑solving and market insights to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions.
• Develop new strategies and approaches across procurement, supply‑chain, operating models, cost optimisation and broader business transformation.
• Translate analysis into clear insights, recommendations and compelling stories that support senior leaders in decision‑making.
• Support the design, implementation and delivery of transformation initiatives alongside client teams.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, collaborating across organisations to solve problems and drive change.
• Contribute to practice growth by generating new ideas, developing proposals and shaping solutions for current and future clients.

Required profile

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in consulting, procurement, supply‑chain, operations, commercial or a related business environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, capable of working through complex or ambiguous issues and turning information into meaningful insights.
• Experience contributing to projects or transformation programmes focused on improving performance, reducing cost or delivering better outcomes.
• Commercial curiosity and an interest in how organisations operate, how markets and suppliers work, and where improvement opportunities exist.
• Excellent communication skills, able to develop clear recommendations and engage a range of stakeholders.
• Confidence in building relationships and working collaboratively across teams.
