Finance Data Analyst

About the role

Our Data Science team at Revolut builds practical, data‑driven solutions for product and finance teams. As a Finance Data Analyst you will dive into large‑scale financial databases, uncover root causes of issues and develop automated tools that improve reporting and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes through financial data, ensuring accuracy from booking to accounting.
• Implement functional accounting requirements for new products and services.
• Design and maintain key metrics, dashboards and aggregated data views to simplify querying.
• Integrate new business lines into existing financial reporting systems, controls and processes.
• Collaborate with controllers and central service teams to visualise insights and identify performance drivers.
• Monitor management information, review support functions and promote data literacy across the company through workshops.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an analytical role delivering impactful solutions.
• Strong quantitative background or education.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional finance and data teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java, Scala or C++.
