Employment Coordinator

About the role

Silver Fern Farms in Takapau is looking for an Employment Coordinator to lead and support people‑related initiatives on site. You will ensure good employment practices, manage recruitment and onboarding, and continuously improve HR services for managers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and facilitate effective employment practices on site.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Provide high‑quality support to managers, applicants and employees.
• Continuously improve HR service delivery and streamline related processes.
• Present HR initiatives to groups and promote the site’s culture.
• Collaborate across all business levels to support skills and technical development.

Required profile

• Previous experience in HR or recruitment.
• Strong influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Tech‑savvy with a comfort for working with systems and social media.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• High customer‑service focus and problem‑solving capability.
• Good knowledge of New Zealand employment and HR law.
• Ability to present to groups and work collaboratively across the business.
