Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

As an Employee Relations Specialist at EY, you will act as a senior subject‑matter expert, supporting a high‑performance culture across the organisation. You will manage complex, high‑risk employee relations matters and provide guidance to leaders, HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex and high‑risk employee relations cases.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, General Counsel and Talent Centres of Excellence on investigations, restructures and acquisitions.
• Work with leaders at all levels to deliver practical, sustainable solutions to sensitive employee issues.
• Provide expert guidance and informal coaching to Employee Relations Advisors on complex cases.
• Contribute to employee‑relations projects, including legislative updates and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex and escalated employee relations cases.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation, case law and emerging ER issues.
• Solution‑focused approach to ambiguous problems.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a specialist team.
