Delivery Lead / Project Manager

About the role

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice is seeking a Delivery Lead / Project Manager to join its Systems Delivery & Modernisation team in Auckland. You will work on a mix of standalone projects and workstreams within larger programmes, helping clients design and implement change in complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of complex projects or key workstreams within broader programmes.
• Establish fit‑for‑purpose delivery structures, including planning, governance and reporting.
• Provide delivery assurance through health checks, risk identification and practical recommendations.
• Support recovery and stabilisation efforts to bring projects back on track.
• Oversee scope, schedule, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted delivery partner.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams across Deloitte and client environments.
• Contribute to proposals, business development and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or workstream lead delivering complex projects or programme components.
• Strong grounding in core project management disciplines (planning, governance, risk, reporting).
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Prior consulting or client‑facing experience is advantageous.
