Commercial Analyst – Sales Finance

About the role

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join its New Zealand Sales team in Christchurch. You will support sales and finance functions by building and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and analytical tools that drive pricing, revenue, and cost decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain financial models for revenue recognition, gross‑to‑net waterfalls and scenario analysis.
• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards covering sales, margins, supply‑chain and digital performance.
• Migrate manual Excel reports to governed, scalable Power BI solutions with automated refresh and quality assurance.
• Analyse high‑volume transactional data to identify pricing, revenue and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Map end‑to‑end cost procedures and calculate true margin and profitability by customer/channel.
• Produce ROI analyses, business cases and commercial proposals to support investment decisions.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain reporting assets, define KPIs, ensure data quality and retire redundant reports.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Business or Commercial Analyst in large, complex environments supporting Sales and Finance.
• Background in FMCG or retail preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
