Collections Agent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Collections Agent to join our fast‑growing call‑centre team in Avondale, Auckland. You will be responsible for contacting customers, negotiating payment arrangements and ensuring outstanding balances are recovered in a professional and courteous manner.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls to customers with overdue accounts.
• Explain payment terms, negotiate settlements and arrange payment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the company’s CRM system.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly collection targets.
• Escalate complex cases to senior management when required.

• Strong verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle high‑volume call environments.
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and resilience under pressure.
