About the role
We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our family‑owned European vehicle specialist workshop in Hamilton. You will work alongside an experienced team, focusing on diagnosing, servicing and repairing a variety of European makes using modern diagnostic equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose, service and repair European and other vehicles.
- Perform scheduled servicing, engine repairs and gearbox work.
- Carry out specialist transmission diagnostics and repairs.
- Complete clear and accurate job notes and maintain tidy work bays.
- Collaborate with the service team on vehicle progress without customer‑facing duties.
Required profile
- Qualified automotive technician with workshop experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- WOF certification advantageous but not essential.
Required skills
- Vehicle diagnostics using specialist equipment.
- Engine repair.
- Gearbox and transmission repair.
- Scheduled servicing of European vehicles.
