About the role
We are looking for a Wind Asset Engineer to join Mercury’s small, dynamic team in Hamilton. You will apply your electrical engineering expertise to ensure the reliability and performance of our growing wind‑energy portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of wind turbine assets, ensuring optimal operation.
- Monitor and analyse asset performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical oversight for upgrades, repairs and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with operations, health‑and‑safety and external contractors to deliver projects on schedule.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with wind‑energy assets or similar renewable‑energy installations.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
Required skills
- Electrical engineering principles applied to wind turbine systems.
