Asset Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Asset Reliability Engineer will support the development of Channel Terminal Services' asset management function, focusing on reliability programmes and preventive maintenance for critical fuel infrastructure at Marsden Point.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining reliability programmes.
• Update and strengthen preventive maintenance plans.
• Support asset management plan reviews and documentation refreshes.
• Contribute to asset criticality assessments and reliability analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to embed reliability thinking into daily practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset performance and lifecycle decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in reliability engineering and asset management.
• Background in asset‑intensive, regulated environments such as energy, industrial processing, infrastructure or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with engineering documentation.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and support operational teams.
