About the role
The Assembler will work on wafer fabrication equipment in a clean‑room environment, following computer‑based work instructions to install parts and hardware. This position supports the Global Operations Group by ensuring high‑quality assembly and timely production.
Key responsibilities
- Navigate computer‑based instructions to assemble and install components on wafer fab equipment.
- Use hand tools and fixtures (calipers, torque wrenches, hoists, etc.) to complete builds.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain workflow and production schedules.
- Adapt to changing priorities, including rework, NPI, and overtime.
- Verify parts, conduct visual inspections, checklists, and leak tests.
- Cross‑train across sub‑assembly areas and mentor junior assemblers.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement/Kaizen activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, clean‑room procedures).
Required profile
- Minimum diploma in any engineering field.
- 5‑6 years of electrical/electronics assembly experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts, overtime, and occasional travel.
- Proficiency with computer‑based data systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Required skills
- Hand‑tool operation: calipers, circuit tester, wrenches, hoists, ohm meters, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, ladders, snipping tools.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
- Computer‑based work‑instruction navigation.
- Lockout‑Tagout (LOTO) and clean‑room safety procedures.
