Area Manager - Lower South Island Region

About the role

Smith&Smith is looking for an Area Manager for its Lower South Island Region, based at the Dunedin location. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of Smith&Smith corporate service locations and mobile services, support authorised dealers and business development opportunities in Dunedin, Invercargill, Oamaru and Queenstown. You will hire, train and develop teams, implement Belron standards and drive brand awareness and profitability in your territory. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 07:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations of corporate service locations and mobile services in the Lower South Island region
• Support authorised dealers and business development opportunities
• Hire, train and develop effective teams
• Implement Belron standards and work cross-functionally
• Drive brand awareness and increase profitability in the territory

Required profile

• Experience managing multiple branches with a focus on operational and commercial success
• Experience building relationships and managing diverse teams across geographies
• Experience delivering business excellence and continuous improvement
• Account or sales management experience preferred
• Ability to travel frequently and hold a clean, full New Zealand driver's licence
• Unrestricted right to work in New Zealand
• Willingness to complete a drug and alcohol pre-employment test
