AI Enablement Lead

About the role

Kiwibank is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to bridge operational challenges with AI‑powered solutions. You will work within the Enterprise Operations team, reporting to the Head of Operational Optimisation, to build AI literacy and accelerate high‑value use cases across the bank’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Educate and coach staff on what AI can achieve, translating business problems into AI opportunities.
• Identify, prioritize and support the delivery of AI use cases that improve operational scale.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, training materials, and best‑practice guidelines for AI adoption.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure responsible, regulated AI deployment.
• Track benefits, baseline performance, and report outcomes of AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in capability uplift through training, coaching or practice leadership.
• Strong facilitation skills, able to run workshops and turn complex problems into clear opportunities.
• Experience delivering process change, continuous improvement or transformation in an operational setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence across business and technology.
• Understanding of risk, privacy and responsible technology in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of generative AI.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts.
• Automation techniques and tools.
• Decision‑support AI applications.
