Accounts & Administration Manager (Chartered Accountant)

About the role

This is a hands‑on Chartered Accountant position offering autonomy and direct business impact. You will work closely with the Founder to shape a growing global sustainable brand, on‑site in Lower Hutt, with a flexible 30–36 hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Oversee cash‑flow, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with auditors and external advisors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA).
• Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
