About the role
We are looking for a senior Accounts Payable or Finance Officer to join our local, family‑owned business operating in the construction and property market in Lower Hutt, Wellington. The position is on‑site and offered on a contract basis with an hourly rate of $40‑$42. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing sector while working within a close‑knit team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Support general finance activities such as month‑end reporting and cash‑flow monitoring.
- Liaise with project teams and suppliers within the construction and property sector.
Required profile
- Senior‑level experience in accounts payable or finance.
- Background in the construction or property industry is preferred.
- Ability to work on‑site in Lower Hutt on a contract schedule.
