Workday Associate Director / Manager

About the role

Deloitte’s Human Resource Strategy & Transformation practice is looking for an experienced Workday HCM Associate Director (or Manager) to join its Wellington or Auckland team. You will lead functional and technical delivery of Workday HCM solutions across multiple industry sectors, helping clients maximise the value of their Workday investment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance on Workday HCM functional and technical capabilities.
• Scope client needs, conduct workshops, and perform AS‑IS, TO‑BE and gap‑fit analyses.
• Lead business‑process re‑engineering and gather detailed business requirements.
• Design, configure, and document Workday solutions in collaboration with development teams.
• Test solutions and conduct fit‑for‑purpose analysis.
• Support the Application Support team with post‑go‑live issue resolution and enhancements.

Required profile

• Several years of experience implementing Workday HCM.
• Expertise in two or more Workday modules (Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security, Learning).
• Current Workday certifications.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and workshops.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
