Vineyard Operator – Family‑Owned Vineyard

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Operator to join our family‑owned vineyard located just five minutes from Blenheim. You will work on a modern, well‑maintained site, ensuring our vines thrive and our grapes reach the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vineyard machinery, including tractors, pruning tools, spraying equipment and harvesting machines.
• Perform routine vine care such as pruning, canopy management, and disease monitoring.
• Manage irrigation, fertilisation and pest control programmes.
• Coordinate harvest schedules and assist with grape picking.
• Maintain accurate records of vineyard activities and production data.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in viticulture or a similar agricultural setting.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
