About the role

PwC is looking for a Tax Associate to join its Private Business team in Christchurch. In this full‑time hybrid role you will work directly with New Zealand business owners, helping them navigate tax and accounting matters while expanding your own expertise in advisory services.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with ambitious New Zealand businesses to deliver tax and accounting solutions.
  • Expand your knowledge of accounting, tax and advisory services through hands‑on client work.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues and leverage PwC’s coaching and Chartered Accountant support to develop faster.

Required profile

  • Solid accounting background, preferably with experience in tax compliance or advisory.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site client visits with remote analysis.
