About the role

Join Aurecon’s 12‑week paid Summer Internship Programme as a Structural Engineering Intern. You will work on real‑life projects that focus on innovation and sustainability while gaining hands‑on experience in building design and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to structural design projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in the Intern Innovation Challenge to develop creative solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical and sustainability engineers.
• Engage with mentors and expand your professional network through the Limelight Early Careers network.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year student pursuing a Bachelor of Structural Engineering.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Strong relationship‑building mindset and willingness to push boundaries.
• Enthusiasm for learning and taking ownership of your career adventure.
