Storeperson / Loader Operator

About the role

Bunge is looking for a Storeperson / Loader Operator in New Plymouth, New Zealand, to join its agribusiness team. The role covers the safe and efficient loading, unloading and storage of product, working with loaders, screeners and other site equipment while maintaining high standards for health and safety, feed and food quality and site cleanliness. It is a hands-on operational role with a rotational shift schedule that includes day, night and weekend shifts; applicants must be willing and able to work nights on a rotating basis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and screeners safely and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles in line with order requirements and site procedures
• Complete relevant documentation accurately, including MPI and site records
• Maintain store and yard cleanliness and help with stock rotation and hygiene
• Carry out pre-start checks and maintain loaders and equipment according to schedule
• Follow site, MPI and health and safety procedures and support a zero-harm, feed and food safety culture
• Work collaboratively with the team and communicate with supervisors

Required profile

• Experience operating loaders and other site machinery
• Familiarity with stock receipting, dispatch and storage practices
• Comfortable using tablets or computers for record keeping and basic admin
• Desirable: experience with MPI processes
• Team-oriented, focused on safety and following procedures
• Current front-end loader licence (WTR endorsements required)
• Full driver's licence if required to operate company vehicles
